Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival
Venue: Knox Grammar School 2 Borambil Street, Wahroonga
Entrance to the auditorium is off Woodville Ave. There is limited parking. The venue is easily accessible by train (5 minute walk from Wahroonga Station). Access google map here. 2 Borambil St - Google Maps
Enter via gate 18 or 19 and meet near a balcony or look for the red band shirts

Junior Band - Wilbur Sampson Event: Arrive: 8.25am Finish: 9.35am (approx)
Senior Band - Joe Cook Event: Arrive: 12.45pm Finish: 2.00pm (approx)
Concert Band - William Lovelock Event: Arrive 2.30pm Finish: 3.45pm (approx)
Finish times are indicative: Sections may finish before this time.
Wear: Full band uniform including black shoes and socks.
Bring: Your instrument and music. Bass players bring own guitar leads. Percussionists bring your own mallets
Parking:
Parking is limited on site however there is parking on the surrounding streets - allow plenty of time to find a car park as it is a residential area.
Upon arriving at the Festival we will listen to other schools perform and then move to a warm-up room prior to our performance on stage. All parents are invited to enter the auditorium to listen to other groups while they wait for our school to perform.
Once the students have performed, they will be ushered backstage to collect their instrument cases. All students and parents/friends are invited to remain for the adjudication which will take place at the end of the section. If you cannot remain behind for the adjudication you are free to leave once your child is dismissed by their Music Director

Please note: the ASBOF is a not for profit event. All proceeds from ticket sales go towards the running of the Festival.
