Band Workshop 2023
Dear Parents/Carers
On Sunday 25 June we will be holding a workshop for Junior, Senior, Concert Band members in the school hall. The children will spend time with tutors specialising in their instrument as well as rehearsing with their band.
Helpers Wanted: We need volunteers to help with set up and tutor room supervision. Please see information below and link to volunteer form.

5.20pm - 5.45pm Mini concert and collection
All parents are invited to a mini concert at the end of the workshop to hear what the students have been working on during the afternoon.
What to Bring/Wear
- Wear mufti clothes - please bring a warm jacket
- Your instrument
- Music folder. Junior Band members are to bring Essential Elements.
- Pencil
- Music Stand for use in the tutor rooms - please ensure your name is on it.
- Water bottle.
Bass players - please bring your bass amps for use in tutor rooms.
Volunteer - Please Help
If you can spare an hour or two during the afternoon we would appreciate your help.
Duties will include supervising tutor rooms, setting up or packing up equipment and ensuring the classroom is left neat tidy.
Volunteering at the workshop is a great way for you to be involved in your child's musical education especially if you are unable to volunteer at other times.

There will be tea, instant coffee and biscuits available for volunteers
Afternoon Tea - please assist with feeding our young musicians
We would like donations for an afternoon tea for our little musicians to keep them full of energy for the afternoon.
Sandwiches, cakes, slices, popcorn, fruit etc.
