Band Workshop 2019

Dear Parents/Carers

On Sunday 2 June we will be holding a workshop for Junior, Senior, Concert and Stage Band members in the school hall, to add the finishing touches to our band festival/performance pieces. The children will spend time with tutors specialising in their instrument as well as rehearsing with their band.

All band students are expected to attend as the workshop is important in consolidating the pieces for the band festivals/performances. Please make every effort for your child to be at the workshop.   Please confirm your child's attendance by Friday 24 May via the form below or via this link:  Workshop Attendance.

Helpers Wanted:  We need volunteers to help with set up and tutor room supervision. Please see information below and link to volunteer form.

If you have any questions about Band Workshop please contact your Band Parent Liaison or

If you would like to help please fill volunteer via the online volunteer form.

There will be tea, instant coffee and biscuits available for volunteers

Working with Children Check -

All volunteers need to complete a Working with Children Check before Band Workshop.

If you are a new parent to the school or new to volunteering for school activities please fill in the  Working With Children Form (access here).  You need Appendix 5 - print it off, fill it in and take it with your relevant proof of identity (access list here) to the School Administration Office where it will be processed.

If you have completed this check last year or for Band Camp, you will not need to do it again.
