Dear Parents/Carers

 

We need your help to ensure Band Camp is a great learning experience For the children

as well as a fun experience.

 

Parent helpers are needed to supervise tutorials, band practices, mealtimes and outdoor activities.  Volunteers may also be required to assist in the serving of meals and cleaning of dining areas. We are seeking assistance for (approximately) two-hour timeslots from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon.  If you are unable to help out at the school during the week, then volunteering at Band Camp is a great way to give some of your time in a fun environment. 

 

Strong Helpers wanted - Friday 22 March loading/unloading of truck and set up

We are also seeking some assistance on Friday 22 March for the loading of equipment onto the truck at BHPS and then unloading of band equipment and set up of band rehearsal and tutorial rooms at Narrabeen. 

This job requires lifting so if there are any strong people available to help at this time it would be very much appreciated as there is a lot of lifting and moving of heavy items.

Volunteer on the weekend 

If you can assist at any time, please access the google document and fill in your details under your preferred timeslot. If your preferred timeslot is not available please add your name to the Reserve Spaces so we can contact you if we require extra help at these times.

 

Just a heads up ... we will be asking all parents/carers/children to assist with pack up after the mini-concert on Sunday so we can get the truck loaded quickly.

Roster Placement

We cannot guarantee that you will be supervising your child/children however we will do our best. Of course, you are more than welcome to visit your child's band session/tutorial prior to and after your shift.

 

Please note:  Siblings/other children are not permitted on site while camp is in progress.

Food and refreshments for volunteers - please BYO

Volunteers need to bring your own food to camp as budgets will not stretch to feed volunteers. There will be tea and instant coffee available for volunteers. NO nuts or nut products please.
